A Little about Jodi...

Hi! My name is Jodi and I am a senior at the greatest school in Oklahoma,  Oklahoma State University! I come from a small town in northeastern Okla. that has a population of about 250 people (I told you it was small). I graduated from Oktaha High School with 65 other students. We were Oktaha's largest class ever! During high school I was very involved in FFA, cheerleading, newspaper and yearbook, and attended the Chandler Road Church of Christ in Muskogee. My favorite activities included showing heifers, steers and pigs and cheering at basketball games (Oktaha doesn't have a football team).

Here at OSU I am involved in many campus, church and community activities. I was the 2002-2003 Web editor for ACT (Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow) and am working with CollegePrep-101. I served as a S.A.M. (Student Academic Mentor) for Alpha 2002 and am a member of the Student Alumni Board. I attend the Stillwater Church of Christ and am involved in the University Center there.

My major is Agricultural Communications (no, this doesn't mean that I will learn to talk to animals). I plan to get my Bachelor of Science Degree and pursue a career in the agricultural industry. One of my long-term goals is to become editor of the Oklahoma Cowman magazine.

As for family, I have a mother and a father (I bet you couldn't have guessed that!), two sisters (one is 18 years older than me and the other is 21 years older!), two brothers-in-law, two nephews and one niece. Both of my sisters attended OSU and one of my brothers-in-law is a former OSU campus policeman. Attending OSU has always been a dream of mine and I can't believe my time here is almost over. I can easily say my experiences here have been even greater than I could have ever imagined!!!
